Dreams come and dreams go...

Why is it that after you've had a dream, some of them fade quickly while others linger awhile and let you explore them while awake?

Last night I had one, and though now I have no idea what it was about, I remember, very vividly really, that in the dream, I had enough sense to realize it was a dream, and that I should share it with John and Beth. Too bad I no longer remember it. Sorry, guys.

Actually, I believe I had a couple interesting ones last night, and maybe, when it's nap time, I'll have them again.
