Moses taught how to commit genocide, but he did it in the wrong country...~Oct. 04, 2003~ Yesterday, after having lost and forgotten about the site, I found an article in a magazine, which I don't pay for but they keep sending it anyway, on it. The site, The Brick Testament, is a site that has various stories and portions of the bible that aren't really talked about much due to their content. Now the interesting thing is that it's done in Lego's. By an atheist. I spent a good portion of the day going through the new stuff yesterday. It was fun. In it, there's a section where Moses gives instructions on genocide. I have come to the conclusion that he taught that portion in the wrong country. He really should have let them loose on Italy. As if I don't have enough reasons to hate this Goddess forsaken place, I get one more. I'm trying to get the airline tickets for me and the boys to fly back home in a couple weeks, but the site for British Airways is in Italian, and there's some sort of error that keeps coming up that makes absolutely and completely zero sense. It looks like it's saying there's a problem with the address, but it's the right one. At first I thought it had to be the physical address of the terminal here, but that didn't work either. So I'm gonna have to call them at 9 when the Rome office opens and pray that someone speaks English. Oh, and what makes it even better, is I think they'll mail me the tickets, which will take 1-2 weeks, and I'm supposed to leave on the 16th or so. AND if I can't get these tickets, I can't go. Why? 'Cause there'll be no way we can afford it. The next cheapest is $2100, and that's just way too much. I'm so not awake enough to be this angry. Of course, that's part of why I'm this awake. I have become a seething ball of turmultuos hate and angst for this place called Italy. May the Gods have mercy on me that I don't maim or hurt anyone before I leave... Did you miss something?
