Princess Precious

~Sept. 27, 2002~

Today, a friend asked me to tell her a story, so I did. This is actually my first attempt at making one up on the fly, so I thought I'd put it here to save it.

MistressKatryne: Once upon a time there was a little kitten princess

stasia6701: Did the princess have a name?

MistressKatryne: Yes. Her name was Precious.

stasia6701: Awwww.

MistressKatryne: So Princess Precious lived in a lovely kitty castle with her mommy and daddy and sisters and brothers.

stasia6701: And then something bad happened.

MistressKatryne: One day, while taking a walk along the river shore, Princess Precious met a handsome tom cat named Seti.

stasia6701: :)

MistressKatryne: They talked for awhile and found they had quite a bit in common, even though he was a common born kitty. And they became fast friends

stasia6701: And then?

MistressKatryne: One day, when they were supposed to met, Precious came to their secret spot, for they had to meet in secret so her parents wouldn't find out, but he wasn't there.

MistressKatryne: She waited and waited, and finally she heard someone padding up behind her.

MistressKatryne: She turned around, expecting to see Seti, but was suddenly enveloped in darkness.

stasia6701: She was kidnapped?

MistressKatryne: She heard evil laughter and became veryy afraid

stasia6701: *frowns at you* There is going to be a happy ending, right?

MistressKatryne: Yes...

MistressKatryne: Sheesh, Ms Impatient...

stasia6701: Good.

stasia6701: Ok, continue. :)

MistressKatryne: She was in darkness for a long while, and could feel that she was being carried away from her home. Finally, just as she was beginning to think that she'd never be let out of the bag, she was turned upside down, and unceremoniously dumped on the ground.

MistressKatryne: She looked around and saw 3 mean looking dogs staring at her, talking to each other

stasia6701: Eeeek.

MistressKatryne: They were talking about what to do with her and how to get her family to pay up to get her back. And she became even more scared.

stasia6701: Then what?

MistressKatryne: One of them wrote a note to her family telling them that they wanted 100 lbs of choice steak cuts for her return, or they'd kill her, and sent it off.

stasia6701: *shivers*

MistressKatryne: Now, Seti had been held up because Precious's parents had found out about them, so they wanted to talk to him and try to convince him to leave their daughter alone.

MistressKatryne: He said he wouldn't, because he'd fallen in love with her, and was going to ask her to be his kitty wife. This did not please the King and Queen much at all.

stasia6701: :)

MistressKatryne: Just than, a messenger came in with the note from the dogs, and when the King and Queen read it, the Queen burst into tears, and the King started hollering for the guards. They didn't notice when Seti read the note and slipped out

MistressKatryne: He hurried off to where they had been meeting, and easily picked up the scent of the dogs and Precious, and set out after them.

stasia6701: *applauds*

MistressKatryne: Seti follows the scent to an old warehouse that's falling down and can hear the dogs talking inside.

MistressKatryne: He circles the buiding and realizes that it'll be easy to get in and out of, so quietly creeps inside.

MistressKatryne: Precious is in a corner, lying on her back with her paws tied together so she can't run away, and the dogs are preparing to go to sleep

stasia6701: Oh....

MistressKatryne: Purrrrrrfect... Seti thinks to himself

MistressKatryne: So he sneak into a shadowy corner and waits until the dogs are asleep.

MistressKatryne: When the dogs were asleep, Seti silently padded over to Precious, and chewed through her bindings.

MistressKatryne: She was so happy to see him, she almost squealed with joy, but stopped herself at the last minute, so as not to wake up the dogs

stasia6701: :)

MistressKatryne: Quietly, they take the rope and tie up the dogs so they can't follow them, and quickly run back to the castle.

MistressKatryne: Precious's parents were overjoyed to see she was safe, and couldn't thank Seti enough.

MistressKatryne: Seti told her parents that the dogs were tied up in the warehouse, and the King sent the guards to take care of them.

MistressKatryne: The King and Queen were so overcome with joy that they allowed Seti to marry their daughter, and even agreed to build them their own castle on a neighboring hill.

stasia6701: Awww.

MistressKatryne: And everyone lived happily ever after.

stasia6701: The end. :)
