Taco Bell, where are you...?

~Friday, Jun. 07, 2002~

Well, it's about 2 pm here, just before really, and it's a good thing. Put the boys down for a nap at 11, and crawled in bed myself. Slept until about 1:15, got up, took a shower, and man, that was the best shower I've had in a while. Ya know how when it's muggy outside, and you just can't get to feeling clean? Well, today was the first day it wasn't like that, so now I feel squeaky clean. :)

Tristan is still asleep, but Jared is awake, and now playing a long range version of peek-a-boo. He comes out to the doorway, peeks around at me, I turn around, and he runs off. This is better than it was a minute ago, when he wouldn't let me get anywhere near him. He was still mad at me for making him take the nap. :p

I'm hungry, but I don't know what I want to eat. Ok, that's not entirely true. I know what I'd like to eat, but they simply don't have it here. There's no such thing as fast food here, and the number of restuarants that sell something other than Italian, I can count on my hand. Italy's nice and all, but if you come through, expect only Italian food, to eat late, to drive like a maniac, and showering is not required.
