I'm speechless!!!

~Nov. 22, 2002~

Holy shit, I have no clue what to say! Chris called earlier, Chris being my friend that had the power issue so crashed on the couch, and left a message on my machine. Seems his band is wanting to branch out more, and is looking for a female vocalist, and he wants ME to audition! He said they'd be practicing at his place this weekend if I could ditch work early. I just really have no clue what to say right now. I'm very flattered, rather embarassed, and, well, speechless. From what I understand from previous conversations with Chris, they play 80's style stuff, so it's right up my alley. Just really strange to have someone think I sing well enough to want me to audition for their band. Guess next time I need to limit the adult beverages I partake of...
