Unexpected guests~Nov. 02, 2002~ There's a fog bank sitting over top Naples this morning. A thick one too. Normally, I can see all the way out to the bay and the Med from my room, but this morning, I can barely see the wall seperating the complex from the Itailan housing, which is maybe 20 ft, if that. For some reason, this just seems fitting with the way I feel today, as well as the events of last night. And that all this happened last night/early this morning is interesting, considering it was All Saint's Day, rather than All Hallow's Eve... I woke up sometime near midnight and could hear Charlie playing his flute. It was a far away sound, and a rather sad melody, but I could tell it was him. Ok, bit of background here... For those who don't know Charlie, Charlie is a 7 year old Victorian era little boy spirit, that has been with me since I was a little girl. He's my personal ghost, and I love him dearly. He has a big red ball that if you're in my house, and he doesn't like you, he'll bounce it off your head until you have a raging headache to get rid of you. He's quite protective of me and the boys, and is deceptively strong. Though his "body" is 7, his corpreal essence is quite a bit older, so just don't piss him off. Well, he doesn't normally play his flute when it will disturb me, but he was last night, which was odd in itself. When I asked why he was making so much noise in the middle of the night, he told me he was entertaining his guests. When I asked what guests, I suddenly felt like I was surrounded by other small children. They were so confused, and hurting. They couldn't get home. Took a bit to sort things out, but I think they were the children that died in the school that was crushed during the quake. Charlie was trying to help them realize and understand what has happened. He's such a dear. My little Charlie. Though it's still odd that it happened last night rather than the prior... I have "pictures" of him somewhere, as well as of some other guests that were with us last All Hallow's Eve. I'll find them, and let you have a look see... Did you miss something? Check and see... |
