What the hell!

Right now, I'm really rather pissed. There is so much bullshit going on at the boards I frequent that it's making me ill. One member made a post, that was a joke, though she didn't state it, and that started people attacking her. Calling her a brat, a stupid bitch, and a few other not too nice things. Well, when it's finally realized that it was, in fact a joke, and the original poster and the main "flamer" had agreed to drop it, others wouldn't let it go. They still attacked. And when it was suggested to lock the thread, the board owner didn't. It took the forum moderator, who didn't have as much access as the owner due to work constraints, to get to it, 2 or 3 days after. By that time, another thread was started, and more flames, and hate and discontent. Well, the mod was finally able to lock the threads, and even made a post about the behavior, and locked that, which I think was the best course of action. Take a wild guess what happens next... The board owner opens that thread, and basically takes away all the authority she's given the moderator. Oh, and did I fail to mention that there were some moderators taking part in this flame-fest? Yea, there were. Nice, huh? Real great examples of moderators there. Sometimes I really hate people...
