Italian workers are the bain of my existance, that's for damned sure...~Jun. 21, 2003~ Well, I'm sitting here on a Saturday morning, contemplating nothing much that's earth shattering. Mostly wondering why the hell we can't have a fridge that's works as it's supposed to, and why the original owners of the dog have such a problem with taking him back when I told them up front that if there were allergiy issues we couldn't keep him. It's been a week on both fronts, not to mention the year long ongoing problem with the power, and nothing is getting corrected. Yesterday was the worst. Went to get the boys milk for their cereal and it came out in clumps. So when the guy comes and tries to tell us it will be Monday before they can bring us a new fridge, both J and I tell him, and whoever he was on the phoen with that that is absolutly unacceptable, in not so nice terms. We got a new one about 45 minutes to an hour later, but this one doesn't seem to be any better. It's been plugged in since about 5 or 6 last night and it's still not cold. Man, I hate this fucking country. That on top of the power bullshit, which now trips when we have just the stuff in the living room on, is going to drive me to do something stupid to these people. And it's all because we're Americans. Than there's the dog. Damned worthless chewin' on everything, peein' and poopin' whereever he feels like it, snapping at Cory, J's dog, and causing no end to J's allergies and stirrin' up ones for me as well. It's been a whole week since I've been able to put my contacts in, my eyes have been itching so badly. And we've both talked to Melissa about it, but since they're leaving in a few weeks, they seem to prefer to leave him with us while we try to find him a new home. Well, J's found one alright. It's called the pound. The allergy issue has made him just the grumpiest bear of a man, and it's effecting our relationship, 'cause he's always pissy cause he feels bad, so the dog will be gone by the end of this weekend, one way or another. Do I feel bad about that? in a way, yea, but not enough to stop him. And if Melissa finds out and is upset about it, well, she should have taken him back, like it was originally agreed upon...
