What's happening to the world?

There was another shooting today. They haven't said that it's connected with the others, but I'm sure it is. They all are.

*sighs*

What's going on with the world right now? Military members being shot overseas, not to mention murdered by spouses in NC. Sniper killing people at random in and around DC. And more people learning hate and fear everyday.

My folks live in Fredericksburg. They just moved down there shortly before my surgery to get away from DC, it's cost of living, and it's crime rate. Now there's this psycho that's driving around and shooting people for no apparent reason. There's no rhymm or reason to how he decides who, or where he hits, or when. I'm now more worried about them than I ever was with them in DC. And it sucks!

I know the world is an unstable place. I know that it's in the human nature to disagree, and at times let that escalate into fights. I know that there's no guarantees in life except that you'll one day die. But dammit, what the hell?!?!?! Just when I'm figuring things out within myself, the rest of the world seems to be falling apart. Just my luck...
