Hair~Sept. 05, 2002~ Is really quite interesting when you think about it. In one strand is the complete DNA for the person it came from. It holds everything they are, and nothing they're not. By looking at the ends, you can tell if a person takes care of themselves. By the strands themselves, you can also tell. Such a small thing can houses so much information. But there's also so much that's lacking in it. It can't tell you what the person was thinking or feeling when it broke or was cut off. It can't tell you if the person was smiling and happy with the world, or sad and wishing they didn't exist. And normally, after a person grows from a child, and has had their hair cut for the first time, not much more thought goes into it after washing, drying, styling and getting it cut/trimmed. Right now, though, I'm sitting here, and not much would make me happier than this lock of hair that I keep brushing against my cheek. *smiles* Did you miss something? Check and see... |
